Facing on mortality
You know, I used to pray to God to deliver me from pain. But then I had my worst pain inflicted on me 1.5yrs ago. Unimaginable pain.. So i stopped praying for that. I know it's cliche. What doesn't kill you normally makes you stronger. Yah.. It makes some sense. I got a tiny little bit stronger. But fear.. is always there.. hiding.. waiting.. for a chance to jump on me.

Well.. actually I have no mood to write anything because of some fucker misplaced his m16 which caused me to lose 1 day off. For those viewing this post, Happy Chinese New Year to you.

Why lose weight?
1. You know you should. And have you ever been wrong about anything?

2. The statement "There's more of me to love" has an actual bedroom translation of "There's more of me to endure".

3. It's not scaling Everst or writing a bestselling novel. You can do it in your spare time.

4. Tying your shoelaces won't feel like a workout anymore.

5. You'll be able to reach even more places to scratch.

6. In our society, people respect weight loss. Even if you do nothing cool or interesting or memorable for the rest of your life, you'll have done that.

Food for thought.

day 2:
rain again.. everybody got a shag look on their face n so do i.. prone, crawl, kneel.. what ever fuck shit u all can think of, i think SAF can make it possible. haha so muddy so wet so dirty.. woo so shiok. girls will like it alot.. lolx. did fire and manoeuvre training. piece of cake.. chicken feet.. haha all the way. uniform wet wet. don't believe come and check. check already don't regret. damn..

day 3:
as usual the same kinda fucked up weather early in the morning.. then got to do SOC (standard obstacles course). =\ sian 1/2. i was the section commander for that day. sian 3/4.. all section commander are suppose to carry a bag of accs. ytd training that section commander missed out alot of items. i digged out all the items from the store and put it in the bag. so heavy as if i was carrying my field pack. now im really sian. abrasion on my hips, my neck and my back. did ambrushing for training on a slope. fucking hell movements were hard and i got to move the most among all my mates. give instructions, assign all the shit stuffs. 1 by 1 bring them down the slope. i wonder how many times i climbed up the slope and moved down the slope. total "seh"ness nearly caused me to fall down the slope badly. lucky i did not.. *phew.. but come to think of it, the training was kinda fun.. haha. i must be mad..

Lessons from the geese
FACT 1: As each goose flaps its wings it creates an "uplift for the birds that follow. By flying in a "V" formation, the whole flock adds 71% greater flying range than if each bird flew alone.
LESSON: People who share a common direction and sense of community can get where they are going quicker and easier because they are traveling on the thrust of one another.

FACT 2: When a goose falls out of formation, it suddenly feels the drag and resistance of flying alone. It quickly moves back into formation to take advantage of the lifting power of the bird immediately in front of it.
LESSON: If we have as much sense as a goose, we stay in formation with those headed where we want to go. We are willing to accept their help and give out help to others.

FACT 3: When the lead goose tires, it rotates back into the formation and another goose flies to the point position.
LESSON: It pays to take turns doing the hard tasks and sharing leadership. As with geese, people are interdependent on each other's skills, capabilities and unique arrangements of gifts, talents or resources.

FACT 4: The geese flying in formation honk to encourage those up front to keep up their speed.
LESSON: We need to make sure our honking is encouraging. In groups where there is encouragement, the production is much greater. The power of encouragement (to stand by one's heart or core values and encourage the heart and core of others) is the quality of honking we seek.

FACT 5: When a goose gets sick, wounded or shot down, two geese drop out of formation and follow it down to help and protect it. They stay with it until it dies or is able to fly again. Then, they launch out with another formation or catch up with the flock.
LESSON: If we have as much sense as geese, we will stand by each other in difficult times as well as when we are strong.

everything happens for a reason.. what's the reason? the reason must be something good.. what a cold joke.. but yet quite true if you think through it.

Lead, follow or run around like crazy

book in time again..
3 weeks of my BSLC (Basic Section Leader Course) had passed. quite fast huh? haha.. 7 more weeks to go. packed schedule coming up man.. ytd was live firing range.. i was in the ammo party.. woke up at 3am in the morning to draw ammunition for the whole company.. omfg rite? then i 11.30pm then reached home. it was 1 god damn tiring day. things seemed to be abit rush nowadays for me. even my own time schedule i found it quite packed. but i chose to be my things slowly. i dunno y.. maybe the pace in army abit too fast so wanna slow down abit..

i think the monsoon season has came. kept raining the last few days. pls dun rain so much or else i'll be drench most of the time in camp during training. in the end things were delayed in result my mates and i can't rest early. it had been some times since i met my frens for an outing or meal. kinda missed them.. haha.. maybe tis hari raya going to meet them for a ktv session. gonna be an expensive outing again.. my pockets are relatively empty except for an ATM card. so many items on my list i wanna buy.. SAF pls grant me some advance allowance. damn it..

2day i went out for awhile to army market and bought a few items wif my gf. when i stepped out of my house ready for another pathetic day, i realised its still raining heavily. since morning until now.. i mean NOW. i wondered y i didn't realise that the rain was still on. wierd huh? when i stepped out, i was like "Oh hell no.." fuck it. there goes my weekend although i still managed to keep a smile on my face and my gd mood.

well anyway a year has gone with the wind. its a new beginning.. hopefully more ang baos coming along the way during chinese new year. let's wish for the best ppl. Geez...

book in time..
every mountain has its peak, every valley has its low point. life has its ups and downs. no one is up all the time nor down all the time. winter will thaw, storm will pass. problems do end.

Fuck the standards, meet the objective

New Yr.. 2006..
time passed by so fast.. its yr 2006 now..getting old huh ppl? hehe.. btw i hereby wish u ppl always stay happy n gd luck in the yr ahead. May the force be with u.

once upon a time, the sunny was shinning brightly in the early afternoon. i was reading a magazine n came across tis article. i felt that i should share it wif u GUYS. it sounded abit scary to me or i should say to all GUYs. wondering? let me tell u.. its PROSTATE CANCER! its the 5th most common cancer among sg males. the annual rising incidence rate is about 5%. in other words, it means that more n more males in sg are diagnosed with the cancer. omg man~! another frightening statistic is 100%. its the percentage of men who will suffer from prostate cancer if they live old enough. and as with all cancer-related maladies, early detection means all the difference between life n death. here's a killer's hit list when prostate cancer spreads. the nominees are.. liver, hip bones, lymph nodes n bladder. so sad.. its a common cancer among males n 100% males will get it.. its so unfair~! argh...~!~! =\

i have nth to write. i think i might get cancer as well. damn..

A new yr, a new mth, a new day.
