Help the Victims of Myanmar Cyclone Nargis!!
Hi Guys, i just want to raise some awareness of this issue. I know that due to inflation, rise in commodities and the recent rise in GST, etc.. A lot of you might have become more thrifty than you normally do, spending lesser than you normally spend. For those who are able to sustain, still able to eat good food in restaurants, drink beer, smoke, etc.. I really hope that you can maybe drink less 2 to 3 bottles of beer, smoke less packet of cigarettes, eat in a local hawker centre or food court or kopi tiam for this once. Over there now is not just problems with lodging. A basic supply of water there is already a huge problem. Can you imagine when olden days of Singapore when there was water shortage. Your parents or grandparents had to queue up and get their share of water. Myanmar's situation is worse than that. Water supplies are contaminated not just by saltwater but also human bodies and animal carcasses. Disease outbreak spread by dirty water, poor sanitation, mosquitoes are also a major concern. I do not have any rights to force you to make a fix amount of donation as this is voluntary. But i just like to say that since i am voluntarily typing this message to all of you hoping to raise more funds. Lets say we all just make a donation of like $10? E.g 1 person $10, 100 person will be a $1000 donation raised. And most importantly in our hearts, we all know is that donating money is the most minimum help or assistance that we can provide comparing to those Singaporeans, associations and societies helping the victims over there, doing all the fatigue work, in a condition where diseases have a high chance of outbreaking. Have a heart and make that donation now. Take a look at the picture above of how to donate to help the victims. It is expiring on 16th of June so please spread this message to as many people as you can. Lets do a good deed together as this is the most basic we can do. For once, we all share a common goal of helping the victims.kAkA.hUnTeR
